All patients in the Active Group enjoyed increased appetite, gained weight, slept well, and opportunistic infections (Herpes and Thrush) disappeared.
This clinical trial with all patients showing increased CD4 cells at the final count and all but one (this patient was in the extremely advanced stages of his disease and died prior to conclusion of study) showing sustained increases for six months with no treatment, conclude that Immax A is a promising human immune system enhancer.
Current therapies for HIV infection (AZT, 34T, and Protease Inhibitors) all have serious side effects such as killing the bone marrow where immune cells are generated. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, neuropathy, liver spleen, and pancreas complications to name only a few are some of these side effects. Patients have used Immax A with no side effects other than increased energy continuously for over a year.
